The HDD alignment traversed through vertical and horizontal curves and was drilled using conductor casings at both ends using the intersect method. Michelle reviewed geotechnical explorations and performed HDD design calculations including iterative hydrofracture calculations, pipe stress calculations and pullback calculations for both the steel pipe and the HDPE pipe for both installation stresses and operational stresses.
